KARTET 2019: Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligibility criteria for the candidates intended to be a teacher for classes I to V and classes VI to VIII, as per KARTET 2019 Notification. Before you apply for Karnataka TET Recruitment 2020, read the eligibility criteria.
Paper-I: Here is the minimum educational qualification required for teaching class 1 to 5
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Paper-II: Here is the minimum educational qualification required for teaching class 6 to 8
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Make sure that you are eligible before applying. In case of any non-eligibility found afterward, the department will disqualify such candidates.
KARTET 2019: Karnataka TET Application Process
Candidates must visit the official website of the department i.e. schooleducation.kar.in in order to fill the KARTET application form. Fill in the Online Application Form with complete details through Registration and Login. Upload the scanned copy of your Photograph and Signature. Pay the KARTET application fee as per your category. And click on the final submission button. After that download, the computer-generated application and take the printout. The Karnataka TET application form will contain the details filled by the candidate and the Register Number. Note down the register number since you will be needing it to check the result.
Note: Please fill all the details correctly in the application form. If any discrepancy is found in the printed application form or hall ticket, it cannot be changed. There will be no provision for correction in the details.

Karnataka TET 2019: KARTET Admit Card
All the candidates who have successfully filled the application form will be able to download the Karnataka TET Admit Card on March 7, 2020. The hall ticket will be available on the official website of KARTET i.e. schooleducation.kar.nic.in. Applicants need to login by entering their User Name and Password in order to download the KARTET 2019 Admit Card. It will contain the candidate’s details, address of exam center, exam date and time, subjects appearing for, etc.
KARTET Notification 2019: Exam Schedule
The KARTET 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 15, 2020. The exam will be conducted for two papers at different time duration. Candidates who are opting for the Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both the Paper 1 and 2, need to follow the time schedule as mentioned below:

Karnataka TET 2019: KARTET Result
Candidates scoring more than the cutoff in the KARTET Exam will be issued an Electronic Marks Statement. Furthermore, the Centralized Admission Cell will not issue any printed hard copy of the marks sheet. Hence, the candidate must download their Electronic Marks Card from the official website. The KARTET 2019 marks card can be download by entering the Register Number and Date of birth. The date for downloading the marks card will be informed later.
KARTET Notification 2019: About Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test
After writing getting the KARTET Certificate, the candidates can apply for the teacher post available in all the schools of Karnataka Government. These schools can be owned and managed by the State Government / local bodies, Aided and Unaided schools. However, it does not means that you will surely get the job. The KARTET Qualification only means that you are eligible for the appointment for the teacher position.
